Galloway Squirrel Monitoring

Various methods are used to monitor squirrels, but this project uses camera-traps to monitor Red and Grey Squirrels in Galloway (South-west Scotland) with a view to conservation of Red Squirrels by control of Grey Squirrels. This camera-trapping is currently done in association with Gatehouse Squirrel Group and Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels. They have helped with direct assistance, training and resources.
