How to be a Young North East Naturalist

How to be a Young North East Naturalist is a project being run by the Natural History Society of Northumbria (NHSN). The project is aiming to get over 200 young people from 5 schools across the North East of England engaged and enthused with nature. As part of the project NHSN are able to provide each school with a Browning Strike Force HD camera trap. Nature Rangers from NHSN will be working directly with the schools throughout the Summer Term of 2022 and will assist in setting the traps up and collecting / processing the data. Through a series of CPD sessions it is hoped that the teachers will become autonomous and, with plenty of help and enthusiasm from students, will be able to continue the project into the future.
