People taking part in this project have borrowed a camera trap to capture wildlife in their local area and are encouraged to identify and record the wildlife they see, by making a record themselves or uploading images and video to MammalWeb.
The project is a Local Nature Partnership (LNP) between the LNP Brecon Beacons, LNP Powys and the Biodiversity Information Service for Powys and Brecon Beacons National Park, along with the county recorders for mammals and birds in Breconshire, Radnorshire and Montgomeryshire. Its aim is to increase people's awareness of the wildlife that lives around them and the importance of recording it, by creating a biological record.
